In July of 2002 my mom, Judy, was diagnosed with breast cancer. My family and I are so grateful to the wonderful people that mom has encountered during her fight, including the doctors, nurses, technicians and survivors.

The Jeff George Foundation was started several years ago to help worthy causes throughout communities where I have played football and lived. After my mom was diagnosed, I shifted the main focus of the Foundation towards helping organizations that educate, prevent, diagnose, fight, and serve people afflicted with breast cancer.

That is why we have teamed up with St. Vincent Hospital and the Breast Center of Indiana to provide free screenings and diagnostics to women in need. We have two programs we are funding: "Diagnostic Dollars" and the "Judy George Mammogram". These programs provide services to women who are uninsured or under-insured. By providing these services, we hope to give women the chance for early detection, which is the best defense again this disease at this time.
